Course content

Join the race to harness AI as a force for business and social progress on our MSc Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, studying at the heart of London’s thriving tech sector.

Artificial intelligence is transforming life and business as we know it – and evolving at a lightning pace.

In the face of ever-growing swathes of data generated by increasing digital activity, organisations need talented AI specialists who can translate these assets into value in effective and responsible ways.

On this course, you’ll learn how to confidently work with large data sets to create new AI algorithms and products. Your primary focus will be on how best to apply your skills in the real world. Where are the opportunities for AI? How can it add value – and what’s the best way to present your findings to non-technical stakeholders?

Study both the theoretical and the practical aspects of AI

A solid grounding in the foundational concepts means you’ll be well prepared to adapt to new developments as AI continues to evolve. With options to focus on topics like cyber security, design, the Internet of Things and sport innovation, you can tailor the course to the aspects of machine learning that most interest you.

As part of a diverse cohort, learning alongside Loughborough London’s experts, you’ll get to build your teamwork skills while nurturing your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Our location at the heart of London’s tech hub means plenty of networking opportunities and the chance to learn from industry leaders who regularly feed into the course, from healthcare, finance, sports organisations, digital tech and start-ups.

The pathway to a future-proof career

AI is revolutionising almost every area of business as we know it, from engineering and finance, to manufacturing, cyber security, retail – as well as having enormous potential to address pressing global challenges, like climate change, healthcare and poverty.

You’ll graduate with a highly sought-after mix of technical, problem-solving and communication skills. Putting you in a fantastic position to help shape the AI developments of the future – and make an impact in any sector.
