Entry requirements

You will be required to have:

• a minimum of a third-class degree in the subject or related subject of your proposed master’s study
• any additional requirements specified in the specific master’s course entry requirements

To study a degree at London Met, you must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. If you require a Student visa you may need to provide the results of a Secure English Language Test (SELT) such as Academic IELTS. If you need (or wish) to improve your English before starting your degree, the University offers a Pre-sessional Academic English course to help you build your confidence and reach the level of English you require.

Course content

This extended master’s programme is designed for international students who wish to pursue postgraduate study at London Metropolitan University and will allow guaranteed progression on to our Data Analytics MSc.

Our Extended Master’s in Data Analytics MSc begins with a 15-week programme that will help improve your English language ability and study skills before starting your master’s course in data analytics. There is also the opportunity for those who need extra English language support to complete a pre-sessional course prior to the extended master’s programme.

Following this initial 15 weeks, you will go on to join our Data Analytics MSc. Learn all about core subjects including data mining, statistical modelling, business intelligence and data visualisation. Studying this accredited degree with partial CITP status by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, will help you develop theoretical, technical and practical skills needed to embark on a career as a data analyst.
