Entry requirements
Good honours degree (minimum 2.2) or academic equivalent in civil engineering or structural engineering.
Exceptionally, applicants who have substantial working experience in a related discipline (without a first degree) may be considered (if you can satisfy the admissions tutor of your motivation, numeracy and evidence of your ability to work at this level).

Course content
This industry-accredited course is aimed at civil and/or structural engineers who aspire to become senior sustainability managers in both consulting engineering and contracting organisations. It successfully balances sustainable structural engineering with advanced construction management, and is led by a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and Institution of Structural Engineers. With sustainability being a key issue for the 21st century, this course offers specialised knowledge and skills that will enhance your employability potential.

This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), comprising the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institute of Highway Engineers and the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, on behalf of the Engineering Council, as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired a partial CEng accredited undergraduate first degree.
