Course content
Education research in Medicine and Life Sciences at King’s is dedicated to improving the quality of health care through the development of curricula, professional learning across the lifespan, teaching practice and organisational change. Our emphasis is upon education in classroom, workplace and laboratory settings. Faculty and students include people with clinical and non-clinical backgrounds.
Key research areas of the team include: Simulation and Interactive Learning (SaIL), Effectiveness Evaluation of formal and work-based programmes, Cultural Competence and Communication in Healthcare, Widening Participation (building a diverse and inclusive workforce), Developing individual and team- based learning, interprofessional learning, faculty development and the impact of policy on practice.
