Entry requirements
- Bachelor´s degree in computer science with at least 180 ECTS.
- The average grade must be 2.5 or better.
- Successful evidence of aptitude is provided by the department as part of an aptitude test.
- Qualified English language skills, which are usually proven by a TOEFL test (computer-based at least 213 points, paper-based at least 550 points, internet-based at least 85 points). Alternatively, an IELTS test with a score of band 6.5 or higher is also accepted.

Course content
Global Software Development M.Sc. is an international, practice-oriented Master's programme taught entirely in English. Graduates are able to work in a globally distributed team on the design and realisation of complex, distributed software systems.
The first two semesters comprise modules in the areas of infrastructure, programming, technologies, methods and application (in intercultural teams). The third and fourth semesters are dedicated to the preparation of the Master's thesis and attendance at a seminar with a specialisation in intercultural topics.
The study programme offers modules in the areas of infrastructure, programming, technology, methods and applications (in intercultural teams). A lot of emphasis is placed on training related to practice with many internships in our computer labs as well as project and group work.
The university studies emphasise collaboration between German and international students. Students present their work in written and oral form, both individually and in groups, in order to develop their communication and presentation skills.

Information for international students
International students have to apply by November 1st for the summer semester intake (classes start in April) or by May 31st for the winter semester intake (classes start in October).

Fees and funding
As a public university in Germany´s federal state of Hessen, Fulda University of Applied Scienes does not charge tuition fees. Students "only" have to pay a semester contribution of approx. 330€ per semester as well as cover their living costs.
