Entry requirements
- Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above (A*C) including English and Maths
- A reference from your previous school/college, with attendance of over 88%

Course content
This fast-track AAT course is a pre-apprenticeship that has been specifically designed to prepare you for an apprenticeship in accounting. It will provide you with the skills and experience you need to get to the best possible start in the financial world and understand the foundations of accounting. During the programme you will experience visits to global firms, workshops and events hosted by CIMA, Goldman Sachs, KPMG and Bank of England, which will help you discover potential career opportunities and gain employability skills to enhance your job prospects.
This course will lead to a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Accounting. You can then progress to a Level 4 AAT, an apprenticeship degree or employment in the accounting industry.
Fees and funding
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, it will be FREE. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips.
