Tax Associate

Job description

Citrine is a boutique tax accounting and advisory firm focused on individuals and families with complex international finances. Here, you'll find an environment where people matter, precision is paramount, and speed is a strength.

We're an unusual combination: Citrine has over 20 years of expertise in providing high-end tax-advice, yet we are also now embedded within a fast-growing technology company. Our mission is to provide exceptional advice and customer service to our clients.

In this role, you will have the chance to directly interact with clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service. We value teamwork, collaboration, and a client-centric approach, which creates a stimulating and supportive work environment.

For most of our clients their tax bill is the single largest expense they pay every year. Everyone we work with takes our responsibility for getting this right seriously.

You’ll get to:

  • Develop expertise in complex tax accounting and tax strategy
  • Showcase your meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every piece of work is correct
  • Collaborate with our tech team to develop AI-driven solutions, revolutionising the way we work.

In our world, hard work and rest go hand in hand. When the pace slows down, we encourage you to rest and recharge. The peak season is very busy, but when things slow down we encourage our team to enjoy the breaks.

We're not just offering a job, we're offering a journey in an ever-evolving, thrilling intersection of tax, tech, and people. This is a unique opportunity to develop skills for the coming decades.

What we are looking for

  • You’re an empathic person who, as your expertise develops, we can put in front of clients who seek human connection while working through tax issues which often relate to the most intimate family matters including marriage, children, and legacy.
  • You’re keen to learn more about tax optimization in finance and investing.
  • You’re eager to work hard both independently and within a team.
  • You’re naturally curious and like to ask questions.
  • You have the right to work in the UK.
