Our ideal candidate will be an ambitious and self-motivated person who has demonstrable experience in consultative sales, ideally in a professional service context. This person will be keen to learn what we do and will establish a strong understanding of our customers. A full training programme will commence on starting with the company to support the successful person through to becoming a valued member of our team.

Working in collaboration with our wider sales, marketing and service delivery teams you will conduct outbound sales activities to drive new business and nurture prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently achieve agreed sales targets
  • Develop a working knowledge of the company’s service offering
  • Ascertain and qualify the quality of new leads and report via CRM
  • Maintain contact with clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Send emails and unsolicited sales information
  • Find key regional players around the UK

Salary and benefits

  • £25,000 - £28,000 Base Salary (OTE £40,000 - Uncapped) - the starting salary will be commensurate with experience and performance. Your probationary period is six months and on successfully passing this we review the salary position.
  • You will have 22 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays. Holiday allowance increases by one day per year to a cap at 25 days. Employees working to and upholding our company values will be given an additional day’s leave for their birthday.
  • Once an agreed threshold has been achieved the Sales Manager will become eligible for a share of profits. We would expect the base salary to rise considerably for the right individual when targets have been consistently met or exceeded.

What we are looking for

  • You love talking to people and building great relationships
  • Well-versed in Outbound Sales for B2B professional services / consulting
  • Strong potential for achieving sales targets/KPIs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to assess and understand customer needs to fulfil their requirements
  • Consultative sales skills, demonstrating interest in the client, empathy and excellent knowledge of the client’s business and our range of services and products
  • Persistent/Tenacious/Motivated/Happy
  • Capable of evidencing strong personal organisation and time management skills
  • An ability to use your own initiative to provide innovative client solutions
  • Willing to contribute fresh ideas
  • Quest to succeed in an ethical way and with integrity
  • Attention to detail
  • Confident with CRM systems
