Key responsibilities

  • You’ll provide essential support to bring our annual calendar of learning events to life - from course scheduling, communications, and room bookings, to liaising with consultants, managing course materials, participant bookings and enquiries via our online system.
  • You’ll supplort evaluation and insight gathering exercises by collating feedback, analysing data and producing reports, and you’ll have the opportunity to share ideas and help to evolve our existing offer.
  • We’re growing our apprenticeship programmes, and you’ll act as the first point of contact for enquiries and will work with colleagues to pro-actively identify new opportunities, manage supplier relationships and oversee our levy account.
  • You’ll also oversee event management and help facilitate our induction and other events, supporting employees at the very start of their Royal Household career.
  • With opportunities to support the wider HR team, you’ll co-ordinate events and support projects relating to wellbeing, inclusion and diversity, and employee involvement.
  • Underpinning all of this, you’ll manage supplier relationships and support the general administration of budgets and invoicing.
  • And as you support others, you'll have exceptional opportunities to grow your own career. In time, you’ll be encouraged to support with the design and delivery of online and in person learning. Professional development will also be supported, either via an apprenticeship or other relevant qualification.

Training

  • You will have a keen interest in developing a career in learning or apprenticeship support, great administration skills and ideally some experience of working in an office environment.
  • Organised and pro-active, with lots of initiative and an ability to work at pace, you'll be able to juggle a varied workload, effectively balancing priorities and deadlines.
  • Digitally fluent and with exceptional attention to detail, you'll be able to maintain systems, use MS Office with ease and communicate through online technologies.
  • At your best working in a team, you can quickly build relationships with a range of people, placing high importance on delivering service excellence.
  • With articulate and accurate written skills, you'll be comfortable drafting everything from emails and basic reports to website copy and training materials.
  • And with good numeracy skills, you’ll be confident working with budgets, analysing data and producing reports.
