Bright Futures - Black Talent 2025

Job description

The Bright Futures - Black Talent programme offers first year law, or penultimate year non-law undergraduate students from black heritage backgrounds an opportunity to gain commercial work experience.

The programme takes place in our London office, giving you the opportunity to shadow one of our lawyers and meet many more through networking and panel sessions. You'll be able to develop an understanding of our core industry sectors and learn how we help our clients to achieve their commercial objectives. You will also meet the Early Careers Team who will support you with your journey into law, through organising development sessions and networking opportunities.

At the end of the programme you will take part in an assessment centre. Following this, you could be fast-tracked on to our London 2026 Vacation Scheme.

What we are looking for

  • Either first year law or penultimate year non-law undergraduate students on a three year degree
  • Either second year law or penultimate year non-law undergraduate students on a four year degree
  • From a Black Heritage background
  • You do not need to have previous law experience, but you should have achieved AAB or equivalent at A level, be on track for a 2:1 degree, be commercially minded and able to tell us why you think you would be a good fit for Clyde & Co.
