Graduate Project Manager (Property & Buildings)

Job description

You may already know that CGP is the UK’s No.1 Educational Publisher but did you know we also have an impressive property portfolio in the Lake District?

We apply the same high standards to our diverse properties as we do to our books — from our shiny new offices and quirky village shops to our various pubs and farms. With such a wide range of property projects in the pipeline, CGP is a very exciting place to be.

We’re looking for a driven and talented individual to join our growing Property Team. You’ll have some relevant industry experience — but what’s particularly important is a passion for property, a positive attitude and an astute technical mind. We’ll be expecting you to lead a variety of projects so superb organisational skills are a must.

What we are looking for

  • A degree in a STEM, property or building related subject
  • A technical or scientific background and a genuine interest in property (including aesthetics)
  • 2+ years (ideally) of relevant property / buildings experience
  • To enjoy working collaboratively (it’s a great way to learn)
  • Resilience, flexibility and a natural instinct to go the extra mile to meet customer requirements
  • To be numerate with great IT skills (CAD experience is a bonus)

Accepted degree subjects

  • environmental science and ecology
  • physics
  • electronic and electrical engineering
  • engineering management
  • planning and surveying
