Our graduates go on to work in a number of different sectors, including consulting and technology. Over 80% of our graduates choose to take advantage of the favorable visa regulations in Germany (all graduates are granted 18 months to find a job after graduation) and stay in the country for their first job after graduation as a pathway into the German economy. The average starting salary for graduates is 83,000 Euros (MBA) and 53,000 Euros (MGM). There are 32 faculty members at the school, representing 18 different countries.

As the most international business school in Germany, over 80% of ESMT’s faculty members have a non-German background. With 32 faculty members at the school, they represent 18 different countries.

ESMT were recently ranked as the #1 business school in Germany, and #3 in Europe by the financial times. ESMT is one of only three business schools in Germany to hold the accreditation “Triple Crown”, to be accredited by AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. The “Triple Crown” is the highest distinction of quality for business schools worldwide.

Berlin was chosen as the site of the European School of Management and Technology because it is a city of enormous transformation and change. As a school we sit alongside the largest startup economy in Europe, giving our graduates unrivalled access to a diverse and thriving new economic sector. The city also enjoys comparatively low living costs, especially when compared to other European capitals such as London or Barcelona. The same forces that make the city so enticing for development also create a strong draw for students from around the world.

In 2006, the ESMT campus was opened in the former state council building of the German Democratic Republic. The building is located on Schlossplatz, directly opposite the Berlin City Palace and within walking distance of central city tourist sites and the central business district at Potsdammer Platz.

The fees for the four programs are:
